I’m a biker

No I’m not a hard core, easy rider across the country biker…yet. I do have retirement bucket list goals. I am your every day, loves to get in the wind biker. I enjoy traveling back roads on two wheels. I love the freedom of the wind blowing through my beard. I like the biker community. The respect bikers give each other. The outpouring of support bikers give to communities and to fundraisers. Whether you are independent, part of a club, or owners group, every weekend you will see a gathering of bikers riding, conversing, and probably donating time and money to a charity or cause. Today I cruised over 100 miles one way on Louisiana and Texas gulf coast backroads to get to a fundraiser held by the Boozefighters MC. They support Autkonnect for special needs children. Multiple clubs, groups, and random people like myself were in attendance. Live music, auctions, bbq dinners. All with proceeds going to a charity. Weather this time of year will yield many more events and bikers on the road. I ask that you look twice for bikes. Donate when you can. And remember, bikers are people who care, bikers are nice, bikers appreciate brotherhood, and probably donating time and money frequently to charities. Not gonna lie, bikers enjoy and have fun doing what they do. But isn’t that the goal everyday: enjoy life, enjoy fellowship, and make a difference where you can. Get in the wind mi amigos!
