The bucket list trip for most bikers is to hit the Sturgis Rally in the Black Hills of South Dakota. I’ve been fortunate to have attended now 3 years in a row. This year was special. Not only because it was the 85th anniversary of the rally, but I took my girlfriend Wendy along for her 1st time to the rally and the Black Hills. In total 9 days, 7 states, 4109 miles on two wheels. We decided to do the week before the official rally to avoid her missing time at work at school and to enjoy a little less crowded rides. It was a great decision. I took my girlfriend to all the main attractions: Devils Tower, Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Needles Highway, Iron Mountain Road, Spearfish Canyon, Crazy Horse, Deadwood, Keystone, Nemo, and as well as every hole in the wall bar and scenic road I could find. We caught concerts at Kickstands, Full Throttle, Loud America, The Knuckle, One Eyed Jacks and other random joints. The sights were amazing, the fellowship with other bikers was great, the food delicious, and the memories were priceless. We hope to return again but till then, we will reminisce this trip for a good while. Find something that moves you and seek it. For us it’s getting into the wind. Sturgis 🤠🇺🇸🏍️🤘🏽🎸
